ABOUT BILL
Bill Crelley is a qualified sex therapist.
Bill has been involved with men and women’s psychological and physical wellbeing for many years. He worked with the 5 day Stop smoking workshops through the 70’s and 80’s when there were no recognised medications to assist in withdrawal, instead implementing strategies for motivation and success. Through the mid 90’s Bill was assisting in Parramatta and Silver water correctional centres with the psychological health of inmates which included support and counselling. The late 90’s early 2000’s found him counselling in hospital and retirement home settings, which included patients suffering from grief, loss, trauma, isolation, bereavement and the associated complications of fear and uncertainty.
For eighteen months (2004 – 5) Bill worked with clients suffering from gambling addiction, this included couples as well as individual men and women, also clients with mental health issues, and clients who were experiencing relationship breakdown and complication.
For 2 years 2006 and 2008 Bill worked for Wesley Counselling Services – City – Penrith and Castle Hill as a Gambling counsellor, during which time he saw couples and individuals for not only addiction but associated relationship issues including domestic violence and sexual addiction.
From March 2008 he resumed private practice seeing clients with a range of concerns but has a particular interest in sex counselling and therapy for men. Fundamental to our being is our sexuality, not to explore this aspect of self with clients presumes all is well when often for men and women it is the seat of many difficulties and unhappiness for the individual and the couple.
During 2010 through to 2011 he was tutoring indigenous students at Western Sydney University in a part time capacity, and 2012 finds him still involved in education in the area of social science. His first love however is helping men who struggle with the stresses of life which often affect their sexual ability.
Women who bear the consequences of men's issues are also encouraged to gain further insight through learning how men tick, and what to do when men refuse to initiate self- help.
